| Super Regional May 2009 Next Level AAU maintained its dominance of North East Ohio by posting victories in every age backet in this past weeks Super Regional. The most stunning of the victories came in the girls middle school division where the Next Level team stepped up its game and defeated an impressive, talented and gigantic Ohio Varsity u13 Team that was fresh off a major showing in Columbus at the NIKE Tip Off event. Next Level also posted decisive victories in Girls u14, u15, u16 and u17. In fact, the only games lost during the weekend for Next Level teams came when Next Level teams were forced to play other Next Level teams.. The other impressive victory was by the Next Level u16 Black team as they handed the u16 Next Level Red team a loss. This was pay back for the manhandling that u16 Red gave the black team at the Adidas Southern Premier on April 18 in Atlanta, both teams looked sharp and have only lost to each other this year! There was a major player sighting as Next Level's own Shay Selby (Duke Women's Basketball) made an appearance. She came to give back to the program she helped to build and sat table side (the official score keeper) as the torch was passed and new young guns too the court and put on an impressive display of raw young talent. Anyone who sat close enough could here Selby exclaim wow I can't believe the talent level of these kids!!! It was a weekend to remember and a scouts and coaches dream.
